Welcome to CampusMarket. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy and Community Rules.
1. What CampusMarket Is
CampusMarket is a campus marketplace that helps verified students and staff discover, list, and coordinate sales of used goods. We provide the platform; sales and meetups are between users. We do not take possession of items, ship goods, or guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of listings.
2. Eligibility
You must register with a valid university email address ending in .edu.tr (for example name@ciu.edu.tr or name@staff.neu.edu.tr). Student and staff addresses are both accepted. You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account secure. One person per account.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for activity on your account. Do not share your password. Notify us at support@campusmarketplace.site if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Listings and Moderation
You may create listings subject to our Community Rules. Listings may be reviewed automatically (including AI-assisted checks of title, description, and photos) and by administrators. We may approve, reject, remove, or place listings in pending approval at our discretion.
5. Payments on CampusMarket
Most trades between buyers and sellers happen directly (for example cash or peer-to-peer apps at a meetup). CampusMarket does not hold buyer funds for used-item sales.
Online payments on CampusMarket are only used for optional platform features such as listing promotions and donations. Our payment provider’s own terms apply when you complete those payments.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to harass others, post prohibited items, commit fraud, or misuse the platform. See our Community Rules and Safety Guidelines. Violations may result in content removal or account suspension.
7. Content You Post
You keep ownership of content you upload (photos, descriptions, messages). You grant CampusMarket a license to host, display, and moderate that content so we can operate the service (for example showing listings to other users and running safety checks).
8. Reports and Enforcement
Users may report listings or accounts. We may investigate reports and take action including warnings, listing removal, or account suspension. See Report to submit a concern.
9. Service Availability
We aim to keep CampusMarket available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, and maintenance or outages may occur.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
